RJ possesses a breadth and depth of experience that uniquely qualifies him to represent his clients. He developed a focus on details, efficiency, and task completion as a former military officer. Following his military career RJ transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry where he developed the business skills that led him to the executive ranks. RJ has industry experience in sales, training, marketing, leadership, and business operations. He is a nine-time national award winner who has negotiated healthcare contracts valued in the tens of millions of dollars.
RJ’s general business experience has been enhanced by his entrepreneurial endeavors. A serial-entrepreneur, he has started and sold businesses ranging from the food industry to the professional coaching and marketing industries.
Real estate experience prior to licensing was rooted in the investment property sector. RJ purchased his first rental property in 1996, and has bought, remodeled, sold, and held numerous investment properties since then. Investing is where he developed the love of real estate that ultimately led to his decision to pursue it as a career.

Originally from Winston-Salem, NC, Blake has lived in Knoxville for the past 15 years. Coming from a family that has been involved in real estate for over 20 years, you could say it is in his blood.
Prior to joining Alliance Sotheby’s International Realty, Blake worked in management for Dick’s Sporting Goods. During that time, he was responsible for over $20 million in sales. As a manager, Blake had the opportunity to gain a vast amount of experience in marketing, customer service, team building, problem-solving, and working with many different personalities. This experience has been extremely beneficial in his career as a real estate agent.
