Robert T. Stooksbury is a native of Knoxville and East Tennessee, graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1971. After several business ownerships and partnerships Rob began a career is residential building and development in 1992. Since then, he has developed some of Knoxville's finest communities and country clubs which include: Cherokee Springs Longview Estates River Club Gettysvue Polo, Golf and Country Club Water Place Villas - Gettysvue LashBrooke In addition to the residential developments Rob has excelled as a homebuilder with 2 of his homes being chosen for the Knoxville Symphony Showcase and one in Hilton Head South Carolina receiving the Lighthouse Award- Best Overall and Best Exterior. Rob has been a client of Debbie Elliott-Sexton for years but after seeing the impact of the Sotheby's brand on her business he has decided to join the firm as a real estate executive. With Rob's knowledge of development combined with his various business partnerships and building experience he will be an exceptional addition to the firm. Rob currently is a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, Volunteers at the Boys Club of Knoxville where he serves on the board of directors.
